but I agree with the sentiment is that they follow "best practice" and dare not wander off the reservation to protect their employment, and not to get sued.
but its been a very very sad spectacle what America's doctors by and large have done....

Thanks for your input. It wasn’t my post though, I was just sharing. Also to add to what you said, NPs have largely taken over practices. Big trend in my area anyway. I also have to say that the Doctors also often ignore the most crucial data - input from RNs/BSNs and look odwn their noses at those who know the patients best (hospital setting).
I'm not listening to pundits much anymore....
nurse practioners started out with the idea of a very exp. nurse with many yrs of work furthering her education and then interning with a doc until she or he got his ARNP...
nowadays, the kids coming right out of nursing school are going right into practioner education....they have no experience at all...
