Gee...I wonder how much “greenhouse gas” the eruption put into the air? Probably more than all fossil fuel burning for years in comparison.

green house gas-—for years? Actually that would be “forever.” These things move a lot of stinky stuff. The make a million smelly trucks feel like a breath of fresh air.

Actually the major effect is the opposite of green house effect.
Particles and sulfur dioxide will reflect sunlight and cause cooling.
