It would be really nice to interview the folks that make up the 26% that think he’s doing a good job.

Easier to cheat, yes. It has never been difficult to vote.

I didn't say it was "difficult" to vote. But there was a reason turnout is never 100%, and it's because a lot of people simply didn't care to walk down to the polls and vote.

But when they mail it right to your house, and especially when activists were going door to door urging people to fill out those ballots, turnout was bound to increase. I know there were actual "voting parties" in some of the housing projects organized by activists.

This is totally anecdotal, but even in my deep-blue neighborhood, I could see some residents were treating the mail-in ballot with as much enthusiasm as an envelope from Publishers Clearing House. Not kidding about this.

I know a guy who voted against Trump because of what he said about McCain “The only reason he is a hero is because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”.

And then there are the countless feminists and suburban women who didn’t like the “grab’em by the pussy” comment.

“There were huge numbers of people who hated Trump and would have voted for a dead dog over him.”

“...the list of people who wanted anyone but Trump in 2020 was long.”

**************************************************************

This spin is similar to what AP was pushing recently.

Ah hem. “We don’t need no laws making it more difficult to vote”, said agreeing Brandon.

...a huge majority of Americans believed he wasn’t sufficiently focused on the economy (58%) and inflation (65%).

People are so stupid, so poorly informed, so out of touch that they don't know this was their plan all along?

Do people really thick in the head that they believe Democrats are pro-business, pro-energy and want America to succeed?

And, if he DOES focus on inflation and the economy, expect things to get a lot worse.

I agree. But like I said, I know there were literally door to door activists in some places, and though they struck out a lot, they also had success.

It's an absolutely terrible idea because just for starters, it enables vote buying, which was a major reason we went to the secret ballot in the 1800's in the first place.

Even the single suburban women I know who voted for Brandon are starting to complain bitterly about the inflation. They still don’t want to openly lay it at his feet but there’s no doubt they’re feeling the sting of it.
