It’s an excellent album. I still listen to it once in a while. Songs like “Outlaw Man,” “Bitter Creek,” “Doolin-Dalton” (and its reprise and mashup with “Desperado”) and, of course, “Tequila Sunrise” are great listening and sound nothing like the Eagles’ later sound.
Great memories, and those are my favorite songs on there, too. The closest thing I’ve found to that sound is the original America album, often referred to as the Indians album because of the Indians on the cover. They were both released about the same time.
