Do you think that the FR is the only forum that has ever existed on the internet? I might be a newbie “here”, but I am a longtime hand at owning domains, forums, and moderating forums for others over the years. The FR is not the only game in town.
I have been here before and I am calling it now. A shark feeding frenzy roving gang attacking everyone who does not “think exactly as they think” is a recipe for huge flame wars, animosity, totally thrashed threads, and cause unnecessary extra work for mods.
What happens when the fenzy starts to feed on their own? Those who donate and contribute content regularly? Totally acceptable loses? Don’t need them anyhow? You will be stepping on your own toes before it is over.
I understand the cause and effect EXTREMELY well... Been there... Seen it before... Mark my words... But you guys do what you like, there are other forums who would be happy to take in those you drive away. In fact they already have, how many can you afford to lose? Who is going to pick up the donation loses to cover their lost revenue?

It does tend to get vicious around here as general elections approach. I’m already seeing Trump and DeSantis supporters attacking each other. I wish they’d realize they’re being manipulated.
Then you get the little jackwads who reply to posts very rudely without provocation. Unfortunately, the number of people like that seems to increase over the years. I usually smack ‘em verbally a time or two and then ignore them.
We’re all *supposed* to be on the same side, but with some of the socially dysfunctional people we have in here, you never know if they’re just insecure and screwed up or if they’re leftist trolls.
Gosh, you should be hired immediately to run this place.
