I think it was a reporter trying to stir the pot and he was posting on FR. He mistakenly called Jim “Jim Thompson” on Wikipedia.

Do you remember the Admin Mod roasting the guy because he claimed a thread that was pulled had actually been reinstated? It was about Obamas daughter, Malia. Someone kept posting it and it kept getting pulled. The "reporter" insisted it was reinstated and posted that lie on Wikipedia.
