Now 0922. Looking out the window toward Frederick Sound. Rising tide (Low was at 0526. High at 1122). The water is about 30 feet below and 100 feet distant from the window. No sign of any unusual wave action this morning. The warning is for snow melt.
Our tsunami warning siren went off. But we did not see anything out of the ordinary. All beaches are closed but that does not stop the surfers.
