Half the country is standing in line to take a Covid test, or they've cleaned out all that at-home tests and if you have the sniffles, you're going to test positive for Omicron. This means for many, a mandatory 5-10 days off of work.
I'm in the same boat right now. Forced to test by my employer because my son tested positive on Friday. I had mild cold symptoms over the weekend and tested positive myself. I can't return to work until the 18th even though I now feel perfectly fine.
We’re on day 5 and feeling better, but I’ve still got a bad cough and a slight headache, and hubby feels congested and blah. We’re gonna keep up our supplements and vitamins, including ivermectin, but I might add some hydroxychloroquine, even tho I’m taking quercetin, just to get over the hump.
I haven’t tested for Covid yet, but apparently I may not have to after all. I was eating some taquitos with salsa earlier and noticed it tasted like cardboard. I can still smell things okay, but nothing really tastes normal. I didn’t have a loss of taste when I had Covid in March 2020, but I’m definitely not enjoying food this time around. 🤬
How did your employer find out about your son ? TIA
