I have experience 40° below zero weather but it was absolutely still will little, if any, wind, let alone a 65 mph death-wind. 30° below zero any wind at all is very nasty.
As a kid I enjoyed spitting and then hearing it hit the ground as solid ice.

It wasn’t unusual in the 1950s and 1960s to have a month of 40 below zero and colder where I grew up in Worcester and West Bolton, VT.

It was minus 5°F with 50 mph wind gusts at Anchorage airport a couple weeks ago. Pretty severe wind chill.
