My local paper sure does seem to have a noticeable number of “died suddenly” notices in the obituaries. In the past I assumed they were drug ODs based on knowing a few and what really happened. I am not so sure anymore.

Just yesterday my local paper again had a notice of a 55 year old former police chief who “died suddenly” with no other information. That’s the 3rd death I’ve seen in the past couple of months listing a young police or fire person who “died suddenly”.

I’m sure it’s all just a coincidence though.

I think you can still assume that. (just not recreational drugs)
