Again, when did we get to the point in this country where we accept the fact that people can't try to earn a living because of the human debris we allow on the streets?

Yeah, this pisses me off as well. It wasn't the mom's fault to expect her adult daughter to hold down a job. And there aren't a lot of options for young women like her living in Harlem.

I'm sure when this POS gets arrested, and he will (these types of criminals are too stupid to cover their tracks) we'll find that he has a rap sheet a mile long and should've been in prison.

That's where the fault lies.

And now Manhattan just elected a new District Attorney, Alvin Bragg, who has basically made every crime a misdemeanor.

The first priority for a mother is to keep her children safe. I know, because I raised two sons on my own, and wouldn't let them work nights when they were that age, when the world was a safer place 50 years ago. Not all the criminals were behind bars 50 years ago, and we sure as hell know, they aren't today.
