Good for you. My wife is 4 years older than I am, but she is extremely well preserved; most people assume that I am older than she is. The major issue with people like Cage marrying someone 30 years younger than he, on his 5th try is that there are major generational issues. A person who is 27 and from a foreign country simply looks at the world much differently than a 57 year old born with a silver spoon who graduated from Beverly Hills High School. Cage performed in Raising Arizona 7 years before his new wife was even born. It may last if she is an extraordinary person and they are very lucky. Given Cage’s track record it’s going to be tough. Just 20 years from now she will be 47 and likely still very active he will be 77 and likely slowing down. They will almost certainly have very different needs and preferences.
