Harrison Ruffin Tyler Sr. (born November 9, 1928) is a grandson of former U.S. president John Tyler.
John Tyler (March 29, 1790 – January 18, 1862) was the 10th president of the United States, serving from 1841 to 1845, after briefly holding office as the 10th vice president in 1841.
This is a longstanding U.S. tradition.
I don’t think many people realize that our tenth president John Tyler has a still living grandson. Harrison Tyler, Sr is still alive.
