This is a gross exaggeration. One reason I'm not fond of Gatewaypundit; IMO they have a tendency to do this.

I read similar about four days ago and spent an entire day researching. I called the WA Board of Health (BOH) and left messages with about ten different people. I got a return call from the BOH Executive Director and she said it is absolutely not true, we had quite the long conversation. They have released this statement:

I also spoke with the InformedChoiceWA.org https://informedchoicewa.org/news/your-comments-attendance-needed-at-boh-meeting/
which is an excellent advocacy group and they confirmed this is not true (Involuntarily detain, etc.) but the WA BOH is still discussing mandating K-12 students be vaccinated. ICW is fighting that.

I did point out to the WA BOH Executive Director that the WAC (state law) and RCW (state code) that does state people can be involuntary detained/confined at a state facility needs to change. It's been on the books for close to twenty years so it's not new. The BOH can work to change RCW's but not WAC's. WAC are law so have to be changed by the legislature.

I'm no fan of the state of WA government, including the BOH and I am NOT defending them. I'm a fan of the truth plain and simple and Gatewaypundit is spreading falsehoods.

One good thing about earlier articles claiming this is it caused a firestorm of opposition (good!) and the BOH was inundated with phone calls, faxes, and emails from citizens.
