Dissenters on that thread insisted it was nothing, and some even seemed to be trying to protect the 'good reputation' of the NY State law makers (see, they would NEVER put such a law into action - it just showed up in 2015 (she wasn't supposed to lose...) and was forgotten, automatically renewed ever 6 months...nobody paid attention to it....very odd to see conservatives laboring to shield NY lefties from criticism for this kind of bill.
And I kept pointing out the bill, [NYA Assembly Bill A416] was revised a few times and the current version is the 2021/2022 amendment, and on the January schedule for a vote until it was removed late December.
"NOOOO! NOOO! They cried! It's all a mirage! No one was ever going to make that a bill! No one would ever do that!"
