Check pool supply stores, they usually have it for the saline pools.
That is water softner salt or solar salt. I have used that in the past when desperate.
The problem is that the pieces of salt are too big. They are like the size of a really big muti vitamin.
I only use rock salt on my driveway. I use calcium chloride on my side walk where I have azalea bushes on each side.
