“The Founders all had a combination or another of the above, too. When duty to God and Country called, they answered. Didn’t really matter the sacrifice.”
Best reply on the thread. Thank you!
I've been saying it for years now. We are weak. We like to talk a big game, what with "molon labe" and all that utter garbage, but the truth is, we're weak. We like our creature comforts more than the animated contest for freedom. We are more in love with our homes and mortgages and trucks and credit card bills and keeping the spouse in climate control and the booze we drink while watching the "Big Game" on that new 80 inch flat screen "smart" TV WAAAAAY more than we love America.
The truth is, the "hill" we should have died on happened way back in 1992, next to Randy Weaver's 14 year old son and his wife. But we stayed home, and those that didn't, only spouted off their bogus molon labe and other nonsense, while letting the bad guys get away with it. So, they did it again in 1993 at Waco. Again, we spouted off plenty of hot air, but did nothing. And again in Oregon, on that snowy road where LaVoy Finicum was murdered.
Yeah, we LOVE talking a big game, and we sure do act tough, like the 2%ers, Oath Breakers and Pride Boys, but when push comes to shove, the mortgage and truck are just too damned important to sacrifice in the name of freedom. In the end, we'll be molon labing right into the cattle cars and anyone who says different is full of hot air and bovine scat.
