I’d wear a mask over being vaccinated. It may go away after Omicron anyway.
Next time you talk to him on the phone, tell him you have another call coming in from your lawyer.
How do they know?
“I’d wear a mask over being vaccinated. “
+1
Maybe add a yellow star arm band with “unvaccinated” on it.
Or a scarlet “U”.
So all things considered, if the mask is the only thing, I wouldn’t die on that hill.
retire
I’d go to work for their biggest competitor.
I’d wear the mask and make the money. Why stress over it.
Cut some slots in it so you can breathe nicely. Ride things out. Dawn is coming.
If they were forcing a vaccine, I would quit.
They are forcing a mask, and I guess that makes it harder. I probably wouldn’t quit.
That being said, millions of people are leaving their jobs because they’ve figured out that it’s a sucky place to work, the rules are arbitrary, and no one really cares how they feel about it.
Not a hill to die on. You got bills to pay, groceries to buy, got to keep that income stream coming. I have never quit a job until I already had the next job lined up.
If you don’t resist now, your surrender will likely be permanent.
Same place.
We are waiting on the Supreme Court hearing Friday.
This is Biden’s corrupt OSHA mandate.
It is a Hill worth dying on.
You’ve had covid, so you don’t really need a vaccine, but the vaccine is no big deal, and much less annoying than wearing a mask all day. It’s also cheaper (free). Get vaccinated.
He’s not asking you to get vaccinated. He is asking you to provide proof of vaccination. You could get vaccinated and still be out of compliance.
You’ll need to get vaccinated, then you’ll need a booster and then you’ll need another one. And then you will have to wear a mask anyway. I recently won an award for working on the Vaccine Mandate database. When they took the pictures, there were two people not wearing masks; me and my boss.
If you notice, Congressional Democrats wear black masks. An old magician’s trick is to use black mesh to make things look solid.
Can you retire? Do you want to retire? It might be an opportune time if you can retire to call their bluff and say, “well it’s been great, but I think it’s time to go”. They can either then wish you well in your retirement -or- panic and make a counter offer.
Notes
1. This tactic only works if you really can retire.
2. Never walk away mad. Keep it professional, even if they don’t.
I don’t think that matters much anymore and most would probably call your bluff. Then go through a reorganization, due to rampant inflation, and eliminate that position.
At this point, wear the mask, unless you have something else to fall back on that keeps the money flowing and you happy.
Where's their rainbow pride?!?!?! LOL
I’d die on that hill. I’m guessing if you’re consistently #1 or #2 in sales that it’s not a hill that HE’s willing to die on. Call his bluff.
