Thanks for the info re hair. Who knew?
My hair is so thin and fine, I’ve had only two hair dressers who could make it look good. One, a man at Marshall Field’s salon in Chicago, worth the trip downtown on the train when I was very young, and the other is a teacher at the beauty college here in Spokane. Other than that, I can just cut it myself.
Bought a couple of wigs years ago for a monthlong trip to Europe. Pretty nice for traveling but I don’t live the kind of life now that warrants dressing up much.
What a drag it is getting old.
I too have a fine texture but enough of it to style, an instructor told me that phrase in Beauty School in Cleveland OH...back in 1961....He did my hair often for different classes...loved every day I worked in the trade..made life long friends and many, many with ‘fine hair’
Once owned my own Salon with four girls working for me...so much fun we had...miss it ...spent my final 17 years, working in a retirement / nursing home...and truly loved caring for the ill and aged...
Life has been good, still married to same dude for almost 61 years...with two adult kids, but NO grand-kids...but in today's crazy world, that is OK...
thank you for your kind remarks...
