I have the Hey Sir I feature turned off. It’s when I actually dictate that I see the rapid battery drain. 1 text = 10-20% battery drop.

What else can I try?

I close open windows daily, turn the phone off and on daily. Didn’t make a difference but I still do it.

I have cell data turned off. Almost all the options for Siri, all suggestions turned off. With in each app, I have all the Siri options turned off.

I try not to dictate, but it’s a pain not being able to. Then I really don’t need a smartphone. I can have back my little flip phone. At least the battery lasted all day.

Do you have a lot of apps on your smartphone? e.g Facebook. etc. Delete apps that you are not using.

Check the Usage option on your smartphone. That will give you the percentage of usage. Mine was facebook. It was checking location every few sec.
