I’ve worked in four construction disciplines for about 50 years: residential, commercial, industrial and heavy highway, giving me the opportunity to be around and participate in my fair share of demolition, none of which however (full disclosure) used demolition charges.
I am using my common sense, background experience and logic to respond.
I’ve also been in the White House two times, so I have a basic idea as to the structural design and room layout, and they wouldn’t be holding a Presidential Press Briefing under a building’s second floor or third floor, where presumably the roofs support columns are being removed systematically by high explosives or have already been removed by high explosives, or for that matter removed by any other means.

Whoever “they” are, are not using explosive charges to demo anything inside the White House. This theory is “coo-coo for cocoa-cocoa puffs” cray-cray.
Big clue number one- The windows would have exploded outwards if there were demolition charges going off inside the building!
The flashes seen in the windows are likely from a passing vehicle’s lights, that happens to be passing by outside and the lights are reflecting off the glass windows.
Nothing of a ballistic nature is going to be used in such a historical and aged building for the purpose of demolition, or any other express purpose for that matter.

Interesting, thanks for the input. The windows I am sure are not ordinary windows. The barricades makes me wonder. The artificial stage of the oval office is also strange. FBI acting awful strange too. But I guess it is all ok.
