Those 28% are probably the elites and the satisfied to be dependent on the government, whether through welfare or special deals. The Republican Party, at least the MAGA part of the Republican Party, is the party of the private sector middle class and the working class. These are the people who the Democrats are trying to destroy.
I think the 28% are hard-core socialists/communists who are hoping American can be destroyed so they can “build back better” as their commie utopia.
