I got the Coof flu/cold starting about last Thursday evening. I knew about Pepcid, but I didn’t take it. I was a skeptic. In the first five days of my cold/flu Coof, I did not eat much. Food has not appealed to me at all. I ate something the other night, and it caused some acid feelings, so I decided to take a Pepcid. Talk about immediate chest pain relief. I knew I had chest congestion, but I just wasn’t coughing much up. But as soon as I took that Pepcid, I could feel it loosening, and I started coughing chunks of crud. It works amazingly. I was prescribed NOTHING when I tested positive five days in. I only got tested out of curiosity and so I could return to work. Because I tested positive, I had to stay home.
Interesting thing I learned yesterday is that the military has ordered peeps to wait two days from start of symptoms to get tested. Because you don’t test positive right away. With this particular strain, that is.
That’s great, I’m glad the Pepcid worked so well for you. I’ll pick some of that up when I go to Walmart this afternoon also.
I hope you continue to keep feeling better.
interesting, glad you are getting better.
I don’t know how Pepcid works but it has been suggested as part of treatment protocol for a while. IIRC, Trump took it when he had Covid as well.
