Sending you FIL to rehab is very alarming to me.
My sister, who had Dementia, fell and messed up her ankle, had surgery, was doing great until they sent her to rehab.
Rehab did not address her other needs.
Family insisted she be taken to the hospital as they were afraid she had had a stroke, she hadn’t, was severely dehydrated.
Rehab killed her, she died one year ago today.
I am still angry!
Thanks for the warning. I am so sorry what happened with your sister. I will let DH know that we need to avoid rehab at all costs.
