Since Omicron has such mild symptoms, but the hype is so extreme, many more people are getting tested. What may have just passed as a cold previously now gets tested - hence record Covid cases.

But I’m confused. Didn’t the CDC just admit that their PCR test can’t tell the difference between Covid and the flu?

What tests are they using now? The same tests they just admitted do not work?

Yep and it withdrew Emergency Use Authorization 12/31/2021. I wonder if hospitals and med centers know it.

As I understand, it was a specific PCR recalled, not a general discontinuance.
