Prince Andrew is among many influential people who now fear Ghislaine Maxwell will “name names” to reduce her sentence, bringing down other participants in the Epstein pedophile ring with her.

That may be all she bargains for, at least initially. She may not wish to be on the streets anywhere on the globe. It is most certainly not just the powerful she fears.

Apart from any issue as to the content and quality of her evidence, she may prefer a room in a federally managed country club that offers a decent chance she will not hang herself.

But then, we are just talking predictions, right?

She’s more likely to get a lighter sentence if she keeps her mouth shut. She also might get to serve her sentence at a “country club” federal facility.

If all she does is name names, (1) the media will not report it; (2) the justice system will neither investigate nor prosecute; (3) those named will continue their lives and their crimes unhindered. She might be able to release evidence to people in alternate media who will at least promulgate it before they themselves are shut down, but public reputations aren't what they used to be among the elite, and much of what they do they consider a badge of importance.

BUT - if she can manage to tack only one hide to the barn as a warning to the others and live to tell the tale, she's as safe as she's ever going to be so long as she remains silent thereafter. This would need to be coordinated with the existing justice system, so it won't be anyone at the top but it might be someone prominent whose teeth have already been pulled. Andrew, for example.
