Several countries in Europe and elsewhere did have much more extreme lockdowns than were typical in the US. Ex. Spain again, in March-May 2020, where people were not allowed to leave their homes except for essential reasons and there were police patrols out to enforce it. Heck, you cant keep people from going out to get food, else you would have much worse problems than covid. I doubt whether greater isolation, in a large population, is even possible should there be an even more fatal disease.
Come up positive on a Thursday, and you’ll have a three-day wait until somebody can get back to you with some therapeutic advice... maybe. Which is happening to a friend of mine right now. He’s sick and it’s the weekend... so is his GF, no joy.
He’s not sure but he went to a big Mass on Christmas Eve.
BTW the Urgent care was packed, wait for a fon call in the parking lot. Got there at 9am after wallowing around fo 2 days sick... was seen, tested and sent home at 5pm. Got his results on Friday. What a mess!
He did get some codeine for his efforts. His GF has a wet cough, he has a dry.
And.... it could very well be a false positive. It could be the flu. He still has taste and smell.
The stats are crap.
Might even be the common cold...
Inquiring minds want to know: Is Deep State counting colds as CoupFlu?
There is a lot of flu going around. No loss of taste and smell in those folks. Wonder if the immunity depressing aspect of the jabs are helping fuel this.
