In 2020 an absolutely gorgeous, extremely well written and developed video game called ‘Ghost of Tsushima’ was released to huge acclaim. It is set on the island of Tsushima in that period of the Mongol invasion. I recommend it very highly to people who enjoy video games.

The samurai Takezaki Suenaga mentioned in the articles is an ancestor of mine. Part of the property Takezaki owned was still Suenaga property in the 1980s, don’t know if it is true now. My father visited his supposed gravesite then.
