The timing of this article would have been interesting, but it’s from July and DeSantis had done a 180 by October.
I agree DeSantis is his own man, but there is no question Trump cleared the path.
It’s sad. Folks are going to have a tough time backing down with any credibility from some very extremist positions when this is all said and done.

Sorry, complete nonsense. As a doc on the “front lines” of this pandemic, the timeliness of the vaccines saved likely millions of US lives alone. Our ICUs were packed predominantly with unvaccinated patients starting around late spring early summer. I have given out thousands of vaccines and have not seen a single sever adverse event.
The vaccines significantly increased reduces a persons likelihood of hospitalization, ICU stay and death. Also, unvaccinated patients who survived a sever illness are now severely injured and future prognosis is uncertain if they’ll ever get back their pre-illness status.
Omicron, thankfully appears to be less dangerous, but it is not incorrect for a conservative to strongly support COVID vaccines.
I don’t know where you are “hearing” that from.
I don't really give a $hit what any of them say about the shots. They can take their shots and shove them up their ass sideways. After this past election, I changed my party affiliation to "No Party." I won't be voting again, until voter fraud is completely eliminated. And I sure as hell won't be holding my hand over my ass waiting for the Republican Party to deal with it. Uncontrolled voter fraud is the biggest threat to this country, not a virus. Since the GOP doesn't care enough about this country, or my vote, nor respects me enough to want to do anything about voter fraud, I'm done with them all. I hope they're all boostered to death.
For all of you DeSantis supporters thinking he was a better alternative to President Trump on this issue.

LOL, where the HELL have you been? The fight here and elsewhere regarding the jabs revolves around mandates....you know, people being FORCED to take them. Neither Trump or DeSantis are advocating for the jab being forced on anyone. In fact I am not aware of anyone in our Party telling anyone else to simply not take the vaccines at all.
What is your problem?
And this, THIS is the core of all debate on the matter, one we can easily win if we can get the extremists to buy in and stop with conspiracy theories being fed to them by enemy agents.

In other words, researchers are finding that the injections reprogram not only your adaptive immune system, but the innate immune system as well.

Being a Christian who puts God over politicians, I may have to pull my support for both and sit it out. I can’t back someone who is ok with the use of aborted babies for experimental shots
But pushing controversial positions will never persuade people we need to agree with us. Freedom is the issue here.
