You probably won’t be able to stop it from going around. It’s very contagious. You may not have symptoms and you may not get very sick. All the people that I know that got it were only sick for a few days UNLESS they were very sick beforehand. Keep checking your O2 levels.
First, realize that the tests are abject BS, including the “formal one” you plan to get. Don’t bother with the tests.
If you don’t already have some ivermectin on hand, why not? I would do what I did when my wife was very sick. Assuming you’re already taking vitamins c and D3 along with zinc, a weight appropriate dose of livestock ivermectin for each family member including children will keep the whole house from getting the flu.
When my wife was sick, sicker than I’ve ever seen her, I had already been taking my doses of 1% injectable ivermectin for cattle and swine (orally, of course). I shared pillows with her, hugged and kiss3d all over her, and I never had a sniffle.
She resisted the livestock ivermectin. Doc said no therapeutics, wait till blood oxygen levels drop, then go to the ER (where they will try to murder you with nasty Fauci mandated poison). Day 3, we got her to a DeSantis monoclonal antibody Clinic. Still no improvement. Day 5, I slipped her a small dose of livestock ivermectin. She felt much better in less than one hour. Felt good that night. She was totally cured the next morning.
Who knows if it was covid (she tested positive, but as I mentioned the tests are BS), but it doesn’t matter. Ivermectin cures the flu, common cold, Covid, period. I have cured 7 people so far with this wonderful livestock product, which I already had in my fridge cause I use it for my dogs to prevent heart worms. I suspect the horse paste works just as well, but I had the injectable on hand and it worked so well, so fast, and has worked every time on every sock person I’ve given it to, that I’m not even interested in getting a scrip for the human form.
Stay away from hospitals no matter what. They really do want to kill you. It is literally their protocol to try and kill you.

Once you have your livestock ivermectin, and are taking c, D3 and zinc, stop worrying about the flu and enjoy Christmas, hug everyone, touch your face a lot, and stop washing/sanitizing your hands so much. Your immune system will thank you.

See if your doctor will prescribe a prophylactic dose of HCQ for other household members or make some in your kitchen like we did and take it daily.

My daughter had the sore throat and sniffles a couple of weeks ago and then I got it. Then my son got it, and then his friend he works with every day got it. The only one who thought to get tested as my son’s friend, and it was positive for covid. We all basically had a bit of a head cold with coughing for a few days, and wouldn’t have thought any different. My personal opinion is that these tests are meant to show positive to keep those numbers up and the fear going.
Do the tests say it’s the Omicron? If so, it’s as mild as they say it is and nothing to worry about.

Wipe everything in the house down with antiseptic wipes.
Go on with your life.

I second the recommendation to have a pulse oximeter handy. If you can afford it, I’d pick up another one. One to use on your son, and one to monitor everyone else, while wiping it with rubbing alcohol to prevent any spread. Drug stores, Walmart and Grocery stores with pharmacy sections will have them, usually for $20.
Also google FR for lactoferrin. I know I already have thymoferrin in my list. Not sure what the difference is, but lactoferrin combined with benadryl (diphenhydramine) blocked covid replication by 99%.
You have to mail order some of those supplements unless you have a dedicated vitamin store nearby.
One other thing, sinus rinces and gargling with saline water or some hydrogen peroxide (Google to determine how to dilute) will dramatically reduce the viral load in the sinuses and throat, which in turn reduces how much is getting into the lungs. I believe that was a Dr. Peter McCullough suggestion. If I recall, he said that on a recent interview with Peak Prospertiy on youtube.
Run low level ozone in your house. Will continually kill any virus in the air and on surfaces and on nasal and throat passages.

Forget the suggestions for ivermecin, HCL, vitamins, etc., none of which have been proved to help with covid. Get the vaccine.
Benedryl and Lactoferrin.
Test if symptomatic. Take monoclonals if contract.
Zinc vit d and melatonin now.

We are in the same situation. My daughter came home from college and infected all of us.
My husband is the only one that seems to have some lingering symptoms. The rest of us seem to be over it, but it took about a week. It was not fun, but I’ve had much worst sicknesses.
