My Mom, who texts EXACTLY as if text messaging was an electronic version of the USPS including delivery and response time, dropped me a text at about 0630 yesterday morning that they’d “gotten my grandmother (who turned 104 Wednesday before last) the J&J shot” and that they were going to get their poison boosters this coming wednesday.
I was freakin’ LIVID. It’s bad enough my Mom has drank the coolaid but letting grandma’s doc talk her into getting ANY vaccination at 104 is in my opinion medical malpractice of the highest order...
I’m so sorry, yet agree, I think it’s medical malpractice AND abuse. Elder abuse and if given to children, child abuse.
My fil is in a nursing home and when sis in law put him there, of course there was a 2 week iso period and they “talked” him into getting the shot and first booster. Sis in law and dh were livid as well.
Again, sorry about your mom.
