The latest (10/21) overflight in the Google Earth database shows the addition of what appears to be a new solar cell electrical power array on the peninsula immedeately east of the "camp". The peninsula has been cleared and leveled to provide space for doubling the szie of the aray, if needed...
It's likely that this was merely the completion of a construction contract that had already been "let" by the Trump administration. (And, I suspect that may also be the case for the courtoom expansion recently discussed.)
IOW, I doubt the "Brandon" administration is doing much upgrading at Gitmo...

It should be of interest to you that duct tape's operating range is rated to be 180 degrees Fahrenheit. A special variety can function in extreme temperatures as high as 200F for less demanding purposes. By contrast, it has long been known that that the moon's surface temperature reaches 250F daily, thus duct tape's glue would crystalize and fall off.
Did you not notice the Rover's seats that were mangled and bent if not broken?
Are you thinking to excuse the vaunted NASA engineers that were accused of losing the technology to reach the moon that they also were unable to read the duct tape manufacturers' specifications?
Even if a laser were to be bounce off a reflector on the moon, it wouldn't necessarily prove humans walked there to place it. Please point out where this reflector supposedly is on the flag allegedly planted by Armstrong/Aldrin. If there even is a reflector on that flag, you think a laser from Earth can train precisely on its < 0.5" vertically-viewed surface?
Speaking of 250F surface temperatures (the internal built-up heat for which no technology existed to adequately radiate, vent, heat-pump or exhaust way from a lunar astronaut via the PLSS), there could be no moisture in the moon's regolith to cohere to allow a coherence that would form any footprint or rover track. Foot falls would appear somewhat as they do in Earth's driest desert, not the crisp, high-contrast image of Armstrong's boot that's been paraded through the media for fifty-two years. The picture clear implies regolith had caked up on his boot somehow, to be deposited with his very first footfall.
Unlike what's been shown off at the Smithsonian for several decades, what they spent billions to actually deliver should embarrass any self-respecting NASA engineer. This could be picked apart at length, but the point is, when Neil Armstrong was asked years later on camera why we never returned to the moon, he said "Because we didn't go."

The single-most blockbuster item I have come across is a ~1962 video of Wernher von Braun—then Director of NASA and chief architect of the Saturn V rocket that was already in testing—saying we don’t yet have a large enough rocket and the technology to get us to the moon, even though it was the same rocket that was used to launch all the Apollo missions.
I think I saw that once. The movie sets in the huge NASA buildings are a huge eye-opener too, and the fake zero gravity stuff the Astro-Nots pull in their poorly faked videos. 🙄 When it was pointed out to me that spectacular (non-photo) photos of planets were actually labeled “artist rendering” or “interpretation”.....it is all fake. I have seen amateur (but at least it is real) video of actual planets and stars...and none of it is like the colored fake marbles NASA invents for CGI video and “photos”. I have seen video of Astro-Nots running from questions and being asked to swear on a Bible that they went to the moon. Buzz Aldrin in a video telling a school girl we “never went to the moon”.....”moon rocks” are petrified wood or other substance from right here on terra firma.
So much evidence you and I could list all day....NASA is one of the biggest liars and money-laundering operations in history.

Yes this is true we didn't have a large enough rocket back in 1962 to launch to the moon but we did at the end of the decade.
Saturn V was an American human-rated super heavy-lift launch vehicle used by NASA between 1967 and 1973. A three-stage, liquid-fueled rocket, the Saturn V was developed under the Apollo program for human exploration of the Moon and was later used to launch Skylab, the first American space station.
How easy would it have been for von Braun to say, "When Saturn V comes fully on line, we'll be able to go to the moon!" When he talked about Saturn V he was not keeping it a secret. His job as architect was already essentially a completely done deal.
Saturn V was only used for lifting into Low Earth Orbit, as Apollo was and as Skylab was also.
Is your answer of what Armstrong was asked, "Why haven't we gone back to the moon in over 50 years?" anything like Neil's first-hand-knowledge answer?

On January 10, 1962, NASA announced plans to build the C-5. The three-stage rocket would consist of: the S-IC first stage, with five F-1 engines; the S-II second stage, with five J-2 engines; and the S-IVB third stage, with a single J-2 engine.[27] The C-5 was designed for a 90,000-pound (41,000 kg) payload capacity to the Moon.[27]
The C-5 would undergo component testing even before the first model was constructed. The S-IVB third stage would be used as the second stage for the C-1B, which would serve both to demonstrate proof of concept and feasibility for the C-5, but would also provide flight data critical to the development of the C-5.[27] Rather than undergoing testing for each major component, the C-5 would be tested in an "all-up" fashion, meaning that the first test flight of the rocket would include complete versions of all three stages. By testing all components at once, far fewer test flights would be required before a crewed launch.[28]
The C-5 was confirmed as NASA's choice for the Apollo program in early 1963, and was named the Saturn V.[27] The C-1 became the Saturn I and C-1B became Saturn IB. Von Braun headed a team at the MSFC to build a vehicle capable of launching a crewed spacecraft to the Moon.[19]
The first flight of a Saturn V rocket was an unmanned flight in 1967, and subsequently 12 more rockets were launched between 1967 and 1973, carrying Apollo missions and the Skylab space station. Each rocket took different amounts of time to make, but the first one took about five years of research and development.

We agree that Saturn V lifted all the Apollo craft and Skylab, but von Braun said in early 1961 that we don't have rocket technology that could go to the moon even while he knew better than anyone on the planet that we already had Saturn V technology that only lacked testing. He was saying it would take something far more than Saturn V's testing to be able to go to the moon. Yet, by the time all the Apollo missions had flown, only Saturn V was available as a heavy lifting vehicle and Saturn V didn't manifest the technology that could go to the moon.
Like a good nazi, Wernher was well versed on when to keep his mouth shut.
Sorry that you think I am being opaque. So your telling me that the Saturn V third stage lacked the power or thrust to propel the crew capsule, lander and service module from earth orbit to a trajectory to achieve moon orbit. You should post your source for that.
