This may be based on a poorly reasoned earlier attempt to claim this.

Years ago there was the Piso Theory forum over on Delphiforums, which revolved around the absurdly simpleminded idea that the New Testament was invented by/on behalf of the Piso family of Roman Empire times. The joker that ran that one would do a hit and run on other forums to drum up interest, then when called out, would say, "I do not come to debate, I come to inform".

Just to be completely incoherent, the same (?) clown had embraced the absurdly simpleminded claim that the Roman Empire was invented by the Venetians to rationalize their own 'empire'. My guess is, muzzies are behind both stupidities.

There's also a Russian claim that the Roman Empire, and King Arthur, etc etc are really just invented echoes of Russian history (the "New Chronology").
