This is too funny, it’s really like leaving cookies and milk by the fireplace for Santa but
for some reason it reminded me of (as a child) leaving my shoes by the door for St Nick to deposit some coins in.
On one occasion (vigorously denied by) my Grandparents came into our house
BOTH dressed as Santa with sacks of oranges, one from the back door and one from the front
they began throwing the oranges at us three kids and total mayhem ensued
with nary a word as fast as they came they were gone in a flash.
yep my parents did that sort of thing
made the nut I am today
God rest their souls.
