God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen is my favorite Christmas hymn.

Before retiring from teaching, I sang to my students periodically throughout each year, sometimes silly songs, other times math jingles. Just before our Christmas break, I always sang this song and told them that the words were my hopes for them...
