I have no sympathy for either of the Cuomo brothers, but I believe the ex-governor is being treated unfairly. It seems that his property, the $5.1 million he was authorized to receive while governor, now is being taken by the vote of an administrative agency. I am not aware that Cuomo had a hearing or had any opportunity to object to this decision. Thus, it seems his property has been taken without due process. I don’t see Cuomo simply rolling over and paying the money to the State. I do wonder how Cuomo likes the feeling of being canceled and driven into the wilderness by those who heaped praise on him until it no longer was politically expedient?
He used state resources and state paid staffers to help write the book on state taxpayer time
How is that legal or ethical?
Can’t feel sorry for him, because it was laundered bribe money.
I feel as sorry for him as the thief who has his stolen car carjacked.
