New York’s ethics watchdog panel ordered disgraced ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo to return the $5.1 million in profits from his pandemic book deal to the state next month.
The extraordinary resolution was approved Tuesday by the Joint Commission on Public Ethics in a 12-1 vote — coming a month after the ethics agency voted to revoke its prior approval allowing Cuomo to earn outside income from his book, “American Crisis: Leadership Lessons from the COVID-19 Pandemic” while he was still governor and New York was still battling the deadly viral bug.

Methinks FORMER Gov. Cuomo is done. I recon the Lord has reserved a special place in Hell for him, considering all the deaths he caused.
I don’t think I harbor any illusions as to who wrote the book. That someone who was directly responsible for so many CV deaths would come out with a self-touting piece of drivel is what amazes me. That amazes me much more than contemplating the number of retail buyers who would buy such a piece of obvious tripe.
All I’m saying is, if it was legal and ethical for him to write and profit from the book until ten minutes ago, what’s changed?
Hillary should run for Governor of New York. It will give her the chance to acquire a few years of needed executive experience before making another run at the Presidency. :)

Don’t forget that he had staff writing the book, so he was ripping off the New York taxpayers to line his own pockets, so hard to say he was “entitled” to the money.
Why would you refer to Janice Dean like that? She was instrumental in drawing attention to all the seniors he killed, including her in-laws.
If Crown, an imprint of Random House, a division of Penguin Random House LLC, New York is willing to give the now former Governor money, and the receipt of that money has already been adjudged both legal and ethical, then the NY AG James and “Commissioner” McNamara can go pound sand!
(besides, she’s prolly only gonna use it for her campaign for Gov or Sen)

Sorry tina....I should have been more clear. Fredo referred to the sweet and lovely Janice Dean as “that Fox weather b****”. It came out just before he was fired, I believe. I am thrilled that these two pigs are out - and happy for Janice Dean.
I agree with your statement, actually we need a thorough investigation as to who actually wrote this. Trust me, the “Chamber” dictated who did what and I am sure that orders were to produce significant parts of the screed. If that lousy partisan Tish James would do her job rather than going after Orange Man Bad, maybe we would get to the bottom of this sewage.
