On Sunday’s Meet The Press, four talking heads joined with host Chuck Todd to announce that Trump spelled the end of democracy. They have short memories.
On Sunday’s Meet The Press, Chuck Todd gathered around him John Heilemann, a leftist journalist; Marianna Sotomayor, a leftist journalist; Brendan Buck, an ostensible Republican who worked for Ryan and Boehner; and Kimberly Atkins Stohr, a leftist journalist. All five were unanimous: Democracy in America is over because Americans don’t believe that Biden honestly won his seat in the White House. The hyperbole was thick in the air, along with more than a soupçon of hypocrisy, and a huge dollop of fear.
Sundance, at The Conservative Treehouse, caught the roundtable and summed it up thusly:
The NBC media panel for Meet the Press is absolutely apoplectic about their inability to destroy President Donald Trump and his supportive base of pragmatic, awakened Americans. The pearl-clutching and fear are palpable, as the leftist roundtable contemplates future elections that may deconstruct decades of election control, manipulation, fraud and falsehood.
That’s exactly right.
The starting point for the panel discussion was an overwrought article that Bart Gellman wrote for The Atlantic in which he claimed that Trump’s Next Coup Has Already Begun. The premise is that:
Trump and his party have convinced a dauntingly large number of Americans that the essential workings of democracy are corrupt, that made-up claims of fraud are true, that only cheating can thwart the victory at their polls, that tyranny has usurped their government, and that violence is a legitimate response.

Pres. Trump exposed just what was going on; something that should have happened a long time ago. He also created a better, more affordable America for a time & now the Democrats think that was spelling out the end of American democracy. Why are they(Dems) almost always 180 degrees out of phase?

instead, it was a recount because how close everything was...during this time the democrat party became dependent on fraud to win elections. The consent decree ended 2016 that’s how come several times in both primary and by his opponent in the election Trump was asked if he lost whether he would except the results. it was an open secret with in DC that there was enough fraud going on to invalidate elections if scrutinized
A full review of just how in the 80’s a “consent decree” was made so the republican party (and only the republican party) could not make court challenges to election fraud and theft. This needs a full memorable and usable review. Name of the case(s), judges who decided this completely unconstitutional crapola, empowering exactly one party.
For the simple reason that the “party system” is not what was intended in the Constitution, but it developed immediately after/during the presidency of John Adams in contretemps with Thomas Jefferson (who, along with his greatness was a clever fellow and conceived of this, and blamed it on George Washington and Hamilton. Which as far as hamilton is concerned, might have been on target. Central Bank and all).

Since 1982, the Consent Decree had been renewed every year by the original judge, Carter appointee District Judge Dickinson R. Debevoise, who, even after he retired [took senior status in 1994], returned every year for the sole purpose of renewing his 1982 order for another year. Debevoise died in August 2015 [at age 91].

Desparate Democrats, on the other hand, very poorly executed an alleged multi-state election steal, leaving a bunch of evidence, and then followed it with a likewise very poorly executed alleged government-facilitated pandemic, new evidence surfacing all the time imo.

Fauci was involved with the mRNA development. He was recorded stating that he thought people would resist mRNA and we might need a pandemic to convince people to take it. I heard an audio recording of it. I am trying to find the source. The media has largely avoided it.
