TV Race Stuff Here...http://www.tvracer.com
It's been a good F1 season, and for me a great alternative to the kneeling football league.
As for Sunday?
I think slightly more of Verstappen than Hamilton, (and I do like Honda) so ...
...Go Max!
.
Let’s go Max (and Brandon)!
Thanks for the new and fresh smelling F-1 thread!
Go Max!!!!
And thank you, Chode, for another season of F1 threads. Have a peaceful Christmas and a great New Year!
Max takes pole!
Expect yet another whiny protest from Hamilton and Mercedes.
Check out how “realistic” these simulators are. Check the first short lvideo that compares real street course on the left, simu, action of same track,on the right, and notice how almost every bump is represented in the Sim that the real track has. It’s unreal how much effort they put into racing Sims these days, and how “close” (relatively speaking) they are to driving g the courses in real life.
There are some differences to be sure, but the experience is still pretty cool, and fairly close to driving I. Real life, just minus the risk factor z d a few mi or things like smell, changing atmospheric conditions (the Sims replicate it, but it’s not like having rain slap you in the face at 200 mph, things like that)
These racing Sim systems are pretty state of the art, around $50,000 or so. They do centrifugal force pretty well, and the steering wheels have motors on them to replicate the massive torque (you can get some for much .ess, but you would, need a pretty solid desk as it really cranks the snot out of the support znd the driver)
I have just a very basic desktop setup. The steering wheel has force feedback, which again. Is really close to what actual driving would be as you go,over the bumps, and experience gforce, though it’s not as real,as the real, thing of course, but pretty close.
Bu t yeah, watch the vid if interested, it’s pretty amazing how close the pseudo track is to the real tracks. The simulator system in the video the setup rotates, dips, climbs, rocks the person on bumps, etc. Pretty cool i thought

GREAT race! Congrats to Max! Suck it Hamilton you (b)urn, (l)oot (m)urder woke fanboi POS!
I think there were a lot of messages sent. Maybe the strongest to Mercedes from the FIA, stop cheating!
F1 just increased their viewership for next year by 25%!
I want to be sure I understand, just because Hamilton is a jerk and a bit of a diva (newsflash 20 of 20 current F1 drivers are divas imo) we'll(FIA) just make it up as we go and we'll do things that have never been done before, is that it?
I quit watching F1 back in the late 80’s as the V-6 turbos were pushed out as being too expensive and other shenanigan's. I returned during the 2019 season hoping for a Sunday sport to watch.
It looks like it is time for another hiatus.
Be well folks.
