I’m using an old Logitec Momo wheel that isn’t sold anymore- has the gear shift on the unit itself- (also has paddle shifting, but i don’t use them)- I use Fanatec peddles though as the Momo peddles died- The Fanatec peddles are nice, but expensive. I used to use the Logitec Stick with the game Superbike- got kinda used to it for that-

I used to play Battlefield and flew the chopper and jets with a logitec stick- got pretty good at it- The chopper took a little getting used to- but got the hang of it after awhile- i used to do a move with the jets that was like a looping corkscrew move when being pursued which would put me right behind hte person pursuing- was a pretty cool maneuver-

a lot of folks use the Fanatec wheels, but they are expensive- they are good quality though- check out their website- The logitec wheels are kind good- My cheaper Momo has been used for many years now with no issues-

What graphics card are you using? I just purchased a used GT 1030 which is midline or lower but seems real good for sims from 15 years ago like FSX! I am not serious enough about this to pay a $1000 or more for leading edge chipsets.

I think I’m using a lower end GTX TI 1050 i believe- Runs the sim games very well- I would think the 1030 woudl be fine- I had one quite a bit lower end than the 1050, and ran all the sims fine-

ah- didn’t realize you had to dload scenery- but it’ll be worth it when you get flying i bet- I might look into a flight sim - i kinda wanna get back to flying again-

ah- didn’t realize it was that big a jump- but really, i had lower end ones that ran sims fine- i had a really ow end one that ran Nascar game very well- but it was their earlier game- so not sure if it would run newer ones- but i would think so-

I know folks on IRacing have lower end machines and cards and run it fine-

My older GT730 will barely run the newest Sims at all — but definitely playable for FSX and Aerofly. 30 FPS seems fine.

The used GT 1050 was only $89 so no big loss if I need to upgrade it later.

Mainly, it is downloading photorealistic scenery so less need for autogenerated buildings and stuff. And scenic areas are really scenic.

So again let me understand this, you would prefer that the rules are ignored or made up because a Brit sticks his nose in where it doesn't belong.

If you want to root against Lewis Hamilton because he is a POS that is great, but if you want to cheat to see him lose then I suppose this conversation is over.

I do think it is humorous that someone overseas who admittedly has some influence as a member of popular culture but is in a popular but still niche sport is on the receiving end of so much rage is out of proportion.

I believe it is work to hate someone, so Hamilton would receive my disdain, but to commensurate with the amount of influence you think he has, tearing this country apart and such I just don't think he has anywhere that kind of power anywhere but especially on this side of the Atlantic.

I tend look a little closer like members of our House of Representatives like the Squad or our Vice President that not only support BLM but donate money for bail or direct government funds to at the minimum political organizations and in an honest discussion are criminal organizations.

I think famous household names here or government officials both on the local and federal governments in this country are doing much more to tear this country apart than some overpaid pampered racer.

Finally, didn't ask you to stop, didn't ask you to moderate your tone, simply said I didn't understand, and now that you've expounded I'm simply saying bigger fish to fry imo.

I’m viewing the replay right now. A couple of hours ago I went to 2 or 3 of England’s daily rags and there is a HUGE shit storm being reported there about the finish. Evidently Hambone and his team are filing protests and are really making a stink. I am sorry to say but they just might have a case regarding the lapped cars being allowed to pass the safety car, thus putting Max right on Hambone’s tail with no traffic to fight through, at the one lap to go restart. I am not up on this rule at all so we will see I guess.

the only difference i see is that the last few cars dint pass as per normal

if they had been allowed in a timely manner, the outcome may have been the same, but since they botched it, i truly think clearing the back markers btwn them was the best solution to a bad situation since i am deadset against ending on a caution

the fact the last few dint clear the SC made no difference in their points/payouts on finish so no harm/no foul there to anyone in front of them or behind them

First of all, what the heck are you talking about? Who cheated? I cheated? How so? I have no idea what you are talking about at all- What rule are you referring to that i supposedly, in your mind, think was ignored so that he would lose?

Second of all i didnt’ say he was able single handedly to tear our country apart- i said he supports a violent domestic terrorist group that IS tearing this country apart- and for that- I haven’t an ounce of sympathy for him or anyone that does so-

Noone is disputing that, but this is not an ‘either/or’ situation- BOTH are tearing is country apart- The country that we know today is nowhere near the country I grew up in- it’s much more violent, much angrier, and far more destructive- and that is a direct result of the domestic terrorist group blm
