Bullets used by Oswald would not have caused the head wound - type of injury. Head wound (different) bullet came from a different angle too that Oswald would not have been able to make. The two gunman theory seems correct based on Menninger’s analysis - it just wasn’t a shadowy figure on a grassy knoll.
Menninger I understand has passed away, and so too has the SS agent who fired the head shot. If I am not mistaken, SS would not confirm the agent even though he was identified in a public picture standing up in the car behind JFK. SS refused to cooperate on virtually everything. Now the physical threats made by the SS / fedral givernment towards the Dallas medical examiner who had jurisdiction over the matter (JFK’s body) makes more sense. The SS knew what was going down and needed to get JFK out of there asap. The SS succeeded and the media was filled with a federalism issue. While important, was more of a decoy in my opinion that the SS welcomed. “SS [Accidentally] Kills POTUS They Are Supposed to Protect” ... I don’t think we can imagine how history would have changed had that been the headline.
After reading about 25 books on JFK’s murder it was not an SS agent in the car.
Dylan wrote in a song, “ Smoke pouring out of a boxcar door” referring to the men questioned from behind the grassy knoll.
His murder was no accident.
I agree that Secret Service accidental-shooting theory explains some otherwise unexplainable things. However, is there an explanation for why when the accidental shot came from behind that the large piece of Kennedy’s skull flew backwards onto the trunk lid of the limo? Seems far more consistent with a shot coming from the front.
They never show it, but the Zapruder film takes in the whole grassy knoll and ends with a view behind the picket fence. Nothing there behind the fence. And Zapruder had been in the army. If a rifle had gone off from behind the picket fence, it would have been about 25 feet to his right, and he was looking down on that area. An army person who did not hear that supposed shot? And would have been able to look down at that scene? Nope. The top of the picket fence was at the level of his feet, as well as his secretary who were standing on that concrete wing looking over Dealey Plaza.
Not buying it. A SS person would have to stand up in the following car, and take a shot, and then sit back down. In no photos or the films taken that day, and no witnesses noticed that? And if the SS guy was in the back seat and that happened, then the driver and front seat passenger would have had an ear drum blown out. Not buying it.
