This is the logical extension of the 19th Amendment and feminism.
Since women are equal, why should any man stand up for it?
For that matter, why should any woman stand up against abortion or for men's rights in child custody cases? Because it's the right thing to do, regardless of how you feel about the opposite sex.
The right thing to do is not allowing women to hold public office or the right to vote.
