Wet Willy
Re Will Thomas and Wet Willy. During WW2, My father worked in the Army’s CWS - Chemical Warfare Service - testing the 4.2 Chemical Mortar which was used to blow devastating holes in Germany’s western borderlines.
The most effective mortar round was the WP one aka White Phosphorous or Willie Peter. Sounds like a good nickname for Wet Willy Thomas.
