Yes sir, access “Yes”. Wearables, not so much.

NG in TEXAS assigned to drive up and down the Rio Grande in armored tanks, only to phone in illegals crossing over.

Out of the tank the NG are un-armed and used only as pointers for the federal operation, the U.S. Border Patrol.

However, Kinney County Sheriff officers are armed and he called in other Texans to come and help. They came as well as others from across the country to be trained and deputized. The Sheriff fenced off his entire county and monitors it 24/7, after the Del Rio invasion.

DeSantis is trying to fund a civilian military op in similar fashion under the authority of the governor and not the Feds.

Haven’t heard much about Kinney County now that Biden has been forced by federal court order to re-implement the TRUMP’s REMAIN in MEXICO Policy.

Oh FFS, the TX NG showed up like that because that was its MISSION. If your MISSION doesn't require you to have weapons, you won't have them.

Cops are armed, because that is their mission, their job. If the cops wanted the NG armed, all they had to do is request it.

The deal in Florida is different from the National Guard and with only 3.5 mil, it ain't coming with alot of guns. A State's NG is under the authority of the Governor unless it is federalized and paid Title 10 dollars.
