Ophthalmologists are in the unique position to take and show pictures of blood clots and, as a group, could arguably be considered unbiased. Many doctors have stated that results of d-dimer tests that they’ve run are highly suggestive of widespread blood clotting but they don’t have pictures of it, as ophthalmologists do.
