I cringe as well. Even Peter Navarro is saying, on Bannon’s Warroom, that it is not a vaccine in the classic sense and that it was never meant to be the entire means of fighting the pandemic, that The White House wanted development of both a vaccine and therapeutics right from the start.

One of Trump’s biggest flaws is that he simply cannot let go of something he considers a great accomplishment for himself. He’s not a scientist. He did not “develop a vaccine“. He removed obstacles /government regulations that were in the way of developing a vaccine as fast as possible.
