Morning all....
Windy here, but supposed to get warmer today. How sad about that fire and the loss of life. Awful. Christmas (and life) will never be the same for all of those poor people.
So my daughter was telling me what we’re having for Christmas dinner this year lol. She’s going all out. Roast rack of lamb stuffed with panko bread crumbs, chopped spinach, goat cheese, Austrian garlic soup, scalloped potatoes, and she’s making a Christmas Star bread. It’s a 3 layer bread cut and formed into a large star, and she’s stuffing it with several different things - savory, not sweet. I looked them up and they look yummy! Not settled on the veggies or dessert yet (as if we’ll have room lol)
Lil - funny comment about survival of males on the farm lol. That nasty rooster that lives here pecked the little one in the face yesterday. She hit him over the head with a shovel after that, but not enough to kill the thing. I don’t like that bird and wish they’d get rid of him.
LOL, sounds like your little one has no problem fending for herself.
It was just an $11 hot plate that quit working. I never thought it would last long. All I needed was one more month though!
Oh my, that Christmas dinner sounds amazing! Do a lot of the ingredients come from her farm?
That rooster sounds mean, I am nervous with the talons. They can really do a number on you.
My nephew’s comment was pretty true when you think about it. And of course I didn’t go into the whole wethering (neutering) - since you don’t keep that many bucks for breeding. CB - your comment reminded me of Lion King 🙂

I think Natalie works way too hard! You need to give the girl a raise. That dinner sounds divine
