Everything worked out ok! Grandpa brought the girls up on his 4-wheeler which they loved, and we had “porch presents”! The littlest one (3) kept saying “can we keep them?” ... she couldn’t believe the horses were theirs. The oldest one wanted to take the blanket off right away so I showed her how ... then she wanted it right back on so her horse “wouldn’t get cold”. I think they’re still a little ‘blown away’ - the horses are ‘large’ (their mom was exclaiming on how big they are). The littlest one was stroking the mane on her horse ... pretty silky.

My original present was a kid’s cookbook & I got them both “dinosaur” aprons to wear when cooking or doing messy crafts - they are obsessed with dinosaurs almost as much aa horses. They loved the aprons & had to put them on immediately.

They both gave me a quick hug before they headed back across the field on the 4-wheeler, still wearing their aprons ... their ‘new’ horses were riding too! That was actually more fun than just taking the horses down to the house. :-)

Thanks for sharing. Of course they loved them and will never forget receiving them.
