Tcells tell the immune system to produce antibodies. But tcells can also kill infected cells without antibodies. Antibodies die off. Tcells are cellular immunity. The last time I got COVID I was definitely infected. But I didn’t produce enough antibodies for them to be detected. My cellular immunity crushed it before a bunch antibodies were needed.

Excuse me. I have been trying out a new image host, and don't know all the ins and outs yet.

As it is, try this:

Regardless, I like your pix.

Although the disease is real. Just not as important as made out to be.

I have it right now. Got both Pfizer shots in early Spring but no booster.

Got a fever and chills. Cough mild and some sniffles. Bad headache. Lungs sound good, Blood oxygen at 98-96%, which is typical for me. Some stomach nausea which is a sign of Omicron.

Hope it goes away soon.

My wife and I got it at the same time in August. Did not get the shot and never will. She had fever and fatigue that lasted about a week. I never had fever but felt run down and lost smell and taste for about three days. After affects was a nasty rash on my foot and every thing smells like dust to me.

I came home in March 2020 from Vegas sick, along with four others I spent time with. Back then, they weren’t testing if you didn’t have a fever, but I’m pretty convinced I had it.

Fast forward to this week. Our vaccinated and boosted oldest son came home for the holidays and was sick. He tested positive for Covid. We spent the entire week with him without any major isolation precautions, and my youngest son, my wife, and I are fine and have tested negative.

I’m thinking if I did have it, it protected us when our son came home. I’ll never know for sure, but we might have been saved by that previous infection with natural immunity.

I had it in May. Fatigue, coughing, headache, stuffy nose, and diarrhea. I didn’t lose my sense of taste or smell, but everything tasted or smelled ‘off’. 4 days after I was diagnosed, I received the monoclonal injection therapy (Regeneron), and within 2 days I was SO much better. I still had chest tightness for the next couple of weeks before I felt completely back to normal.

My wife caught it soon after I did. She actually passed out in the shower. I called the ambulance for her and she went to the ER. She was back home that afternoon. For whatever reason, she didn’t get Regeneron. Her symptoms lasted a week longer than mine.

All 4 of my kids got it as well, but none of theirs was very severe, and they were through it in about a week.

The funny (or perhaps horrifying) thing that happened involved my 20-year-old disabled daughter. As a VERY over-simplified explanation, she has a grown-up body, but she has a genetic condition (Phelan-McDermid Syndrome) where she has the mind of a 2-year-old. She also has a tendency to get into things we think she can’t get into. And, she will eat pretty much anything.

Near the end of my bout with COVID, a friend brought over 2 tubes of Ivermectin. We put them in a place where they were safe...or so we thought. Five days later, I found our daughter sitting with one of the tubes in her hand. Somehow, she had found it and had EATEN THE WHOLE DAMNED THING, just sucked it right out of the tube. I called 911 and they took her to the ER (I rode with her in the ambulance). She never got sick, she never had any of the symptoms that the poison control center said she could have (including death from an overdose), and as far as she was concerned, by the grace of Almighty God, nothing happened. They released her and we went back home. It scared the heck out of me.

You can always ask for an antibody test. If that is negative (which it could be, as many experts think the antibodies wear off rather quickly), then you could get a T-cell test. Latter might be the only way to ever prove you had it.

I haven’t bothered with those yet. I had the PCR test when getting sick.

Glad all went ok for her!

How old are the other children? Actually children or adults?

This was no big deal. To me, people stocking up on alternatives like ivermectin and Zinc etc is paranoia fueled by the “Black Plague” belief of liberal opportunists.

IOW, they are buying into the narrative that this is the Black Plague. It’s not.

So crazy. BTW check out the CDC website. They do some contradiction there. Lots of their info indicates that indeed, your shots should’ve protected you so much more than the average unvaxed person.

I’m sure you will get better. Treat yourself as you would your flus. Praying for you!

Haven't gotten it yet. Here is my homebound routine:

Based on watching many Medcram videos, I'm developing this home-brew treatment for myself to address the various phases of the COVID-19 lifecycle.

1. Infection and Gestation

I plan to "pre-activate" the interferon in my innate immune system. COVID-19 blocks the production of interferon, which delays the response of the Killer Cells of the innate immune system.

To "pre-activate" the interferon, I will use a hot/cold treatment every 3 days. I will go into my backyard hot tub, set at 104 degrees F. I'll follow a 10-minutes in and then 10 minutes out pattern for about an hour.

The goal is to have the body ready and waiting to find COVID-19 viruses if they enter my body.

See: MedCram Coronavirus Pandemic Update 46: Can Hot/Cold Therapy Boost Immunity? More on Hydroxychloroquine

See: Innate Immunity, Interferon, and COVID 19 in Children: Update 128

2. Strengthening the Endothelial Cells

I will take Zinc and the Zinc ionophore Quercetin. Quercetin will allow the Zinc to pass through the cell membrane, where it will wait for the COVID-19 virus to bond and insert its RNA. Then it will stop the RNA replication process inside the cell.

See: Medcram Coronavirus Epidemic Update 34: US Cases Surge, Chloroquine & Zinc Treatment Combo, Italy Lockdown

3. Fight Oxidative Stress

To buy my immune system time to develop the antibodies to fight the fast-replicating (hindered by Zinc) COVID-19 virus, I will take NAC and Sulforphane to keep my Glutathione antioxidant levels high. Antioxidants replace the lost electrons from O2 superoxide molecules, keeping them from forming H2O2 hydrogen peroxide, which is what damages the internal organs.

COVID-19 binds to the ACE2 receptors, which block the proteins which normally trigger the production of Glutathione. This causes the body to go into Glutathione deficiency, which leads to oxidative stress, which causes the organs to fail. This is when people are put on ventilators.

See: Coronavirus Pandemic Update 37: The ACE-2 Receptor - The Doorway to COVID-19 (ACE Inhibitors & ARBs)

See: Coronavirus Pandemic Update 63: Is COVID-19 a Disease of the Endothelium (Blood Vessels and Clots)?

See: Coronavirus Pandemic Update 65: COVID-19 and Oxidative Stress (Prevention & Risk Factors)

See: Coronavirus Pandemic Update 69: "NAC" Supplementation and COVID-19 (N-Acetylcysteine)

4. General Health

I will take vitamin C and D3, and also Magnesium for bone health (where blood cells are made).

I hope that this combination of therapies will keep my body's natural immune system charged and ready to fight COVID-19 if I should get it.

You can always ask for an antibody test.

I did inquire of my doctor if I should get the test in my recent physical last month. He told me that the tests aren’t sensitive enough to identify antibodies past about six months.

Yes, that is often the view of it.

T-cell could put this off your mind. Can prove to anyone that you had it or not, and maybe let you ease up on concern about getting it again. Which BTW, I don’t think is necessary to worry about unless you are a susceptible person.

All the kids/adults are fine. They all had mild cases.
