I would be willing to bet some of these bugs have been around for years but they are just now being studied. Who among us hasn’t heard their doctor say “It’s just a virus. Call me if you aren’t better in 10 days.” Nobody bothered to investigate the actual virus.
Now they have discovered they can control some us us by scaring us with “new variants that may be deadly”.
They can keep that going for years.
